BURST Bridal creates many green and
white weddings. It is forever the
classic look of elegance.
I have chosen to highlight this
particular wedding for several reasons.

The bride wore a stunning dress and I
wanted to create a bouquet that
accented the highlights of the dress. It
was scaled to be perfect for her to
hold and it's handle was embellished
with silk knot closures. The bouquet
also "V"s in the front like the brides
dress. The dark foliage of the bouquet
in group photography matches the
designs of the bridesmaid dresses.  
The flowers accent the beauty of the
bride and her dress without stealing
focus from her. Scale and style are key
elements to consider when creating a
bridal bouquet.
Limiting the bridesmaids to small
boutique clusters of calla lilies again
put the focus on the bride.

BURST Bridal created jewelry for the
bridesmaids dresses with sterling
silver, fresh water pearls and black
crystal. The bride's mother wore
earrings from my boutique in gold.

The table arrangements were
designed to look bountiful and elegant
without looking, florist typical. The
couple very much liked the pheasant
feather detail.
Large trees stuffed with flowers were used at the Cathedral and then
again at the reception at St Lawerence Hall.

The brides bouquet rested in a footed vase similar to that of the bowl
used in the other table arrangements. This vase sat in the center of a
floral table wreath.

At this wedding the caterer was employed to dress the hall. A mistake
had been made during the set up of the room and another table was
added last minute. After discussing the situation with the caterer, I quickly
made another arrangement for the new table. We didn't worry the bride
about the situation, we just fixed it. She thanked us later.
BURST Bridal always makes sure there is enough flowers to make a
replacement piece if needed. We're always prepared in the event
something goes wrong and quick to react if it does!

This was not the only mistake that happened with this wedding. Growers  
sent the wrong scale of roses for the brides bouquet. I ordered new ones
in time for the week end. If a grower sends the wrong flowers I don't use
them, I get what I want elsewhere. I do not believe in, "make do" when
styling a wedding. It must be perfect or as perfect as it can be.
