CANOE : A Private Affair
Canoe Restaurant is still considered one of Canada's
leading restaurants. Canoe has two private dining
rooms which are perfect for an elegant small reception.

Fall of 2009 I decorated it with flowers for a very intimate
wedding. Both the bride and myself wanted to use the
room's beauty and view to our advantage. I designed a
series of glassware specifically for these rooms and
stuffed the main centerpiece vase with dozens and
dozens of miniature white calla lilies, with small satellite
arrangements of small piles of stones, cymbidium
orchids and miniature palm fronds.

I offer this glassware now for sale in my boutique. It's a
design that is very urban inspired by a Canadian legend.

"Before the year closes, I want to thank you for the gorgeous
floral arrangements that you designed for my wedding at
George Brown House and Canoe. I recently received my
professional photos and now have an opportunity to revisit
the day.  I saw the flowers and realized that I did not send
you a note!

The arrangements at Canoe were very elegant and
appropriate for the space.  My friends who got to take home
an arrangement were thrilled!   My bouquet was absolutely
gorgeous!  I managed to bring it back with me to the US
